Every girl should write down her goals. Business goals, personal goals, income goals, and what ever else you want to achieve in your life. If you want to achieve something in your life, don’t just think about it. Get your favourite journal or even just a piece of paper and write down the goals.
Having a goal sitting in your head may not help that much. Most books and successful people say that you need to write down your goals. First thinking and getting clarity about the goal is a great way to start but the next step is for you to write it down as soon as you think about it.
What is it that you want to accomplish?
Think about your passions, the things that light you up or practical needs you have. Use that to help you come up with the exact goal that you want to get. For example, let’s look at a person who wants to improve their health.
First step is to write down the goal of improving your health.
Next what you will want to do is to write how you are going to achieve this goal. It can be a huge help to find someone who has already done this before in person or online and see what helped them. Take their experiences on board as you plan out your course of action.
Write down why you want to achieve this goal. For some, it could be wanting to be able to run after your kids. For others, it may be to lose weight to get pregnant. Whatever your goals are, write down why you want to achieve them.
Another point that is important to consider is to have complete faith in yourself and your desired goals. You need to have faith and a growth mindset because if you don’t you could self sabotage yourself. You may have written them down, but it means nothing if you don’t kick out your disbelief of achieving this goal from your “belief” system. You need to have faith that you can reach any goal that you set.
After you achieve a particular goal, don’t forget to celebrate! Give yourself some sort of a reward and take time to enjoy it. Once you achieve your first goal, that gives you confidence that you can accomplish any of your future life goals. Celebrating your small and big wins It should give you some sort of motivation to write more and more goals down.
Now, what happens if you don’t reach your goal? This can happen to anyone. The best thing that you will need to do is to learn from this situation and think what you can do differently next time to achieve that goal. Look at what worked and what didn’t. Do you need to set some habits that will help you take consistent action or relook at your reasons why? Take some time to reflect then carry on, don’t let it stop you losing momentum!
