How I use Teachery in my online business selling courses, templates and digital products
If you’ve been following my journey, you’ll know that WAIM Unlimited has been an absolute game-changer for my business. I went from scattered and stretched super thin to knowing exactly what to work on to grow my audience and scale my offers.
Not only does WAIM Unlimited continue to teach me skills to level up everything from my email list to my content marketing to my website and brand messaging, but (maybe more importantly), it gives me that extra dose of support and motivation to keep going whenever I feel stuck.ย
Moving forward, even when youโre uncertainโthat is how you work towards your dream of making an income as an artist, creator or educator a reality. ย

Show Notes:
Hi there! Today I wanted to share a bit about how I use Teachery. Teachery is a course online platform where you can put your videos, audio lessons, written lessons, and more. So, there are a few different ways that I use Teachery, and I thought I would share a bit about it. You can see if it’s something that could be useful for you and how you might use it.
One of the things I use Teachery for is having this customer Hub. When people buy something off Etsy, they get a link that lets them enroll for free in this customer Hub. Here, they have some of the things linked with my key products. There are instructions for using a digital planner, a video showing how to get the most out of my planner, and how to design your life planner. Also, if they bought, for example, a self-care planner, they can see the video, and there are links to buy each product. This is a great way to help people connect with you, especially if they bought off Etsy, where you wouldn’t necessarily have their email. So, I include a link in the PDF where they can click to get free enrollment into this customer Hub, and then I get their email, making them my customer as well.
Another thing I’ve done is created a free mini-course, which is an opt-in. It’s a freebie that builds a list and helps people learn about making planners and journals, like lined notebooks, to start with. It also shares more about my course, Planners on Demand, acting as a basic funnel to sell a more premium course.
I’ve also used Teachery to create a holiday sales Hub using a template from my friend Kim. Each Christmas, I have a sale on my products and promote other people’s products I’m an affiliate for. The holiday sales Hub is a place where all offers are highlighted in one place.
The most obvious thing to do with a course platform is to host courses. I host all my courses on Teachery because it offers lifetime access with unlimited students and courses, unlike other platforms where costs can go up with more courses or students.
I also use Teachery to host templates for sales pages for planners or printables. I’ve turned it into a Hub with lessons on how to access and use the templates, along with next steps for further products or services.
Additionally, I use Teachery to create a customer login area where students can easily find their product and login details, making it convenient for them.
Teachery also offers coaching calls and topics on building your email list, branding, transitioning from service-based to creating a course, and more. The program provides transparency, practical insights, and lifetime access to Teachery, making it a valuable tool for creating courses and digital products.
If you’re interested in making courses or digital products with videos, Teachery is a program worth checking out, especially with the bonus of lifetime access. If you have any questions or would like to know more, you can ask me at hi (at) itstartswiththedream.com.
