In this video I share what a ‘word for the year’ is or ‘guiding word’.

I talk about how a word for the year can help you with super charging your efforts. A word for the year can help you as it acts as a compass for the year.

I go over 4 steps from my free printable workbook on how to choose a word for the year. We look at what you’d like to be, feel, do, have.

We review the previous year and what we have learnt from it. We brainstorm words and experiences from last year.

We choose 3 words to dig deeper into and finally we choose our word for the year!

You're telling me your story and my mind has created a brand for you 😂 True story last week I was coaching someone who I've coached for over a year. As she's telling me something God spoke to her on and the lessons she's learned in her wilderness season my mind made up a brand name, a logo and where she could start sharing her lessons. For my own fun I mocked up the logo, made her a banner for substack and told her exactly how she could easily start sharing her message - in essence how to start a business. It took me less than an hour. It can be that simple to come up with a name, create a logo and a banner and start posting on substack or Instagram. She has a story that will impact others. You do too. It needs to be heard. Today I'm sharing a personal story about moving from Zambia to the UK as a child, losing my mother tongue, and what my colleagues taught me about courage, resilience, and being willing to sound like a beginner. Because nobody becomes fluent by staying silent. And the same is true when you're building a business, sharing your story, or stepping into a new season of life.
